Celebrating the Victories in Jesus!!

This last month, the Lord has been challenging me to stop and take time to celebrate what great things the Lord has been doing in my life, and through our church. All through out scriptures, we are encouraged to praise the Lord for His goodness, and His blessings. Israel was challenged to remember what the Lord had done for them, and for the generations past, and to give thanks. I believe it is easy for us to get so busy in today’s society, that we forget to stop and think about how wonderful it is to be serving the Lord, to celebrate our hope in Jesus, our blessings, our answered prayers, our miracles, our ministries, and the relationship we have with our Lord.

I have found that if we don’t celebrate, we can easily forget the blessings, and the victories. If we are not careful, we can forget how precious our Lord Jesus is to us. Also, if we don’t take time to celebrate what we have, we tend to focus upon what we don’t have. This can produce negative thoughts, or if not brought under control, bring depression upon our lives. Celebrating helps us to see all the Lord has done for us, and gives us a positive view of our life and church.

Just this last month, we have seen seven people give their lives to the Lord in our main services on Sunday. That’s not including those in the youth and other ministries. Just a few weeks ago, I had the privilege to lead a young man to the Lord at the hospital. I know that we are being blessed, because many churches would be excited to see this many saved in a year.

We praise the Lord for each of you that are witnessing, inviting, and ministering to people’s lives. We are seeing lives changed for the glory of God. Praise the Lord.
